AUSTIN – Several Taylor Duck athletes put their best foot forward, some setting new personal best, against tough competition at the 95th annual Texas Relays March 29 – April 1. Milano rally sinks Tigerettes
For the second time this season, the Milano Lady Eagles spotted the Thrall Tigerettes (11-12-2 overall, 5-5 District 27-2A) a lead, only to storm back to get the win. On Saturday, Thrall built a 4-0 lead through three innings, but a five-run fifth gave Milano the lead and the Lady Eagles held on for a 6-4 win. 04/05/2023 07:32 AM

Ducks edge out Caldwell for second district win
EVAN HALE evan.hale@taylor press.net CALDWELL – The Taylor Ducks varsity baseball team’s hot start continued Tuesday March 28 after picking up a win against the Caldwell Hornets. Lady Ducks slide by Lady Buffs
EVAN HALE evan.hale@taylor press.net GIDDINGS – The Taylor Lady Ducks varsity softball team now sits with a 2-2 record in district play after defeating the Giddings Lady Buffaloes Tuesday night on the road. Los Patos season ends in second round

Hippos beat Knights for first district win of the season
HUTTO – The Hutto Hippos baseball team picked up their first district win of the season Friday, March 24, after beating the Harker Heights Knights 11-9 on their home field.
