Comic Christopher Durang creates what the Palace calls a wildly funny farce about a selfabsorbed movie star — with her 20-something boy-toy in tow — who returns to the family farmhouse to visit her brother and sister.

Anita Allen Volek has been an active supporter of the Taylor Educational Enrichment (TEE) Foundation since it’s reactivation in 2016. Awarding grants during Mallard Mania has been one of her all-time favorite events, and she and husband Dannie have participated in Food Dudes, most recently serving up Dannie’s homemade dressing from an old Volek family recipe.

Granger resident on dean’s list

A Granger resident is among more than 1,200 Harding University students included on the dean’s list for grades achieved during the spring 2022 semester. Dallas Fuller, a sophomore studying biochemistry and molecular biology, is a student from Granger who earned a spot on the dean’s roster.

Tywater and other employees were strapped to the pole to raise money for Dell’s Children’s Hospital. Each employee who was taped to the pole had to collect more money than their previous co-worker. Taylor ISD names Teachers of the Year

Art teacher Jean Barnett is Taylor High School’s Teacher of the Year. She loves watching her students grow and says that she learns from them as they learn from her. Being able to watch their artistic journey over their high school career is something she calls, “super special.”
