HUTTO – Only 35% of Hutto students met standards on the 2022 STAAR math tests. The results signify an increase from the 2021 scores of 31% but are still a long way from the pre-pandemic 47% score.

Think you are too old to accomplish your healthy weight goals?

I recently had a 70-year-old woman say she is too old to get healthy. Her blood sugar is over 400. She is obese and takes four different meds. I told her a few of the following stories from our success journals: Becky: I’m currently on the program. I’m 68, and I kept telling myself the same thing, “I was too old.” I’ve lost 40 pounds and I am off all medication my doctors had once prescribed. I feel better than I have in years.
