Doris Mae (Randig) Nord went to her heavenly home April 16, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born Aug. 31, 1938, in Taylor.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Randig, Sr. and Ida (Bunge) Randig; parentsin- law, Alvin Nord and Elsie (Lehman) Nord; husband, Donald Nord; eldest daughter, Linda (Nord) Bonnet; son-in-law, James (Jamie) Vanecek; brothers, Alvin Randig, Jr., and Raymond Randig; sister, Irene (Randig) Conn; sisters- in-law, Joycie Randig, and Jeanette Randig; brother-in-law, Thomas Conn, Sr.; and nieces and nephews, Kimberly Randig, Randall Randig, Trisha Sheppard and Brian Lathan.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Nord/ Vanecek) George and her husband, Larry George; son-in-law, Donald Brian Bonnet and his wife, Sheryl (Schneider) Bonnet; grandsons, Justin Bonnet and Evan Bonnet; step-granddaughter, Ashlyn (Bradford) Morris and her husband, William Morris; great-grandchildren, Braxtyn Bonnet, Iona Cash Bonnet, Wyatt Morris and Logan Morris; and numerous family members whom she loved. Visitation was held Friday, April 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. The funeral service was held Saturday, April 22 at St.
Peter Lutheran Church in Walburg. Burial followed the service at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Thomas Conn, Jr., Kevin Randig, Jimmie Sheppard, Blake Randig, Matt Taylor and Bodie Randig.
Honorary Pallbearers are: Barret Randig, Andy Conn and Mark Johle.
