Tigerettes have strong showing in Lago Vista

Thrall’s Tigerettes posted a 3-2 record at the Lago Vista tournament, and showed continued improvement as the season moves along. In the opening round, the Tigerettes (11-7) ran into a hot-shooting Marion Lady Bulldogs team.

Saints deliver to Shepherd’s Heart

On Dec. 5, members of the Taylor ward showed up at the Taylor Church building to load roughly 3,500 pounds of food into the Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry truck. Many hands made light work, and within 30 minutes, all the food was loaded and ready to be taken to the warehouse.

Taylor PD investigating suspicious death

Taylor police are investigating the suspicious death of a 26-year-old man found in a yard Monday night. Police Chief Henry Fluck said investigators are awaiting the results of an autopsy, including a toxicology report that could take weeks, for more information in the death of Enrique Lopez Estrada.

City manager touts teamwork, tax dollars at work
