Taylor residents on the west side of the city will soon have new water lines serving their area, after a project that will involve a contractor tying into the main water line in the Taylor High Pressure Plain. Residents who live in the area west of State Highway 95 will likely experience low water pressure from 10 p.m. Friday, May 19 to 10 a.m. Saturday, May 20, while the project is being completed. 05/16/2023 10:42 PM

Districts ramping up school safety
On May 5, schools across the country responded to an internet threat that turned out to be a large-scale hoax. Hutto Independent School District was one of the many affected by the threat, and they used their Parent Square app to quickly alert parents about the hoax. 05/16/2023 10:42 PM

MUMFORD – The Granger Lady Lions defeated district rivals Bremond Tigers Thursday, May 11, to advance to the fourth round of the playoffs.
