The Taylor City Council voted to approve funding the waterline relocation and adjustment within the boundary of CR 401 Reconstruction Project as part of the Interlocal Agreement with Williamson County in an open council meeting Feb. 9. The project will be completed by James Construction, a contractor that was hired by Williamson County for multiple projects, and will be working on behalf of the city for this project in cooperation with staff from the Public Works Department and engineers from the city’s engineering firm, HDR.

Project managers expect that the disruption in water pressure will last a maximum of 12 hours. While there is a possibility that the water pressure will drop to a level that will require a boil water notice for the area, project managers do not anticipate that it will fall to that level.
