Joyce L. Remmert, 84 of Round Rock, passed away Sunday, Sept.

Billy G. Shiller, 81, of Harker Heights, passed away Thursday, Sept.

Mary Lou Lafler, 80, of Taylor, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, at home surrounded by family.

On Sept. 12, 2022, at about 10:45 p.m., a flurry of angels led by our Lord filled the room of Margaret Dell Carmack Moore to the brim. They took our precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend with them as they departed for Heaven where she will reside forever with our precious Lord. She passed away peacefully in her sleep for which we are thankful. She was 99 years old, adventuresome, loved to travel and lived life to the fullest. Born April 12, 1923, in Weleetka, Oklahoma, she spent most of her life in Texas.

Edna M. Richter Hurta, age 95, went to live with her heavenly Father Sept. 18, 2022, in Temple. She was born July 20, 1927, in Taylor, to Fritz and Amy Bunge Richter. She attended a country school in Waterloo and graduated from Taylor High School in 1945. Shortly after that, she met her first love, Edward Hurta, in Taylor. They were married March 31, 1946. A few months later they moved to Temple where Edward’s work took them. They lived in Temple until their deaths.

Virginia Garza Lopez, 86, of Houston, passed away Sept. 19, 2022, at home surrounded by her children.

Diane Kay Kallus, 80, of Taylor, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022. A visitation was held Friday, Sept. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary to begin at 6 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos Parker Blvd.

Edna M. Richter Hurta, age 95, went to live with her heavenly Father Sept.

On Sept. 12, 2022, Margaret Dell Carmack Moore, 99, passed away peacefully. She was born April 12, 1923, in Weleetka, Oklahoma. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 24, at 4 p.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown.

Emma Juwell Logan, age 64, of Round Rock, passed away in the arms of her loving daughter, Michelle Freeland-Love, on the evening of Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, at North Austin Medical Center of Austin.

Virgie Nell Ruthven Simcik, 84, of Taylor went to be with her Heavenly Father Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, with her family by her side.

David Lee Kruse, 66 of Hutto, passed away Sept. 1, 2022, peacefully on his ranch, surrounded by family.

Johnnie Mae Peterson, 80, went to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022. Johnnie Mae was born March 15, 1942, in Taylor, to John Frank and Ella Jean Bartek, along with her twin sister Joyce Ann. She grew up in Taylor and was proud to be a Taylor Duck. She was married to the love her life, Richard D. Peterson for 41 years. Johnnie Mae was extremely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She was a kind and compassionate lady, who was the life of the party.

Senaida B. Martinez, age 94, of Taylor, passed away peacefully at her home Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, with her family by her side. Senaida was born on June 5, 1928, in Hondo, to Jose and Juanita (Lara) Botello. She grew up with two brothers (Santiago, Marcial) and two sisters (Juanita, Ponciana).
