On Sept. 12, 2022, at about 10:45 p.m., a flurry of angels led by our Lord filled the room of Margaret Dell Carmack Moore to the brim. They took our precious mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend with them as they departed for Heaven where she will reside forever with our precious Lord. She passed away peacefully in her sleep for which we are thankful. She was 99 years old, adventuresome, loved to travel and lived life to the fullest. Born April 12, 1923, in Weleetka, Oklahoma, she spent most of her life in Texas.

Edna M. Richter Hurta, age 95, went to live with her heavenly Father Sept. 18, 2022, in Temple. She was born July 20, 1927, in Taylor, to Fritz and Amy Bunge Richter. She attended a country school in Waterloo and graduated from Taylor High School in 1945. Shortly after that, she met her first love, Edward Hurta, in Taylor. They were married March 31, 1946. A few months later they moved to Temple where Edward’s work took them. They lived in Temple until their deaths.

She was married to the love her life, Richard D. Peterson for 41 years. Johnnie Mae was extremely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. She was a kind and compassionate lady, who was the life of the party.
