Mary Sutton

Mary Sutton passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday morning Sept. 29, at Bellaire at Teravista in Round Rock. She was 92 years old.

Mary was born Dec. 8, 1929, in Hutto to George and Signe Eklund, but happily lived her whole life in Taylor.

She married Colon Sutton July 14, 1947, and had one daughter, Susan Lynn Rinderknecht.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she loved her friends, being involved in her circle and working at the pumpkin patch every October. She was an avid bridge player in many clubs through her lifetime and loved the friends she still has there. She was also a member for many years in Junior Women’s Study Club. Most of all she loved running her store Daisy Manor in downtown Taylor with her forever best friend Peggy Buzan who she missed deeply.

She was very proud of her two granddaughters, Reagan and Raeley, who are both doctors. She gladly attended all their graduations in College Station, Lubbock, Stillwater, Oklahoma, and Fort Worth. And she dearly loved seeing or hearing about all the antics of her five great grandchildren who called her GG.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Susan and husband Ronny of Fort Worth; and grandchildren, Reagan and Andy Kinnear of Aledo, Raeley and Aaron Guess of Fairview; and great grandchildren, Adelyn, Cara, Hunter, Ainsley and Nolan.

There will be a visitation Friday Oct. 7, from 5 to 7 pm at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor.

A funeral service will be held Saturday Oct.

8, at 10 a.m. at Condra Funeral Home Chapel Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.
