Sheryl was born Feb. 1, 1957, in Taylor, to La Verne and Ray Arbuckle, Jr. She was a daddy’s girl and when she was eight years old, her parents brought home her baby brother, Russell, whom she lovingly wanted returned to the hospital. Sheryl had a love of the outdoors and all animals from an early age.
