GEORGETOWN – Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, the only shelter solely devoted to the lost and abandoned animals of Round Rock, Cedar Park, Hutto, Leander, and Williamson County, and Best Friends Animal Society, a leading animal welfare organization working to save the lives of cats and dogs in America’s shelters by 2025, are teaming up for a Holiday adoption extravaganza from Dec.

Artists are sought for The Taylor Public Arts Advisory Board’s Portal Project, which is a fun and creative way to bring art to unexpected community areas, such as the hike and bike trail, by decorating the elevated manhole covers along the route. The Portal Project already spans several manhole covers along the trail, starting from Eleventh and Washburn streets and heading south and east.

The business formerly known as the Hangout Pinball Lounge, located in room 102 of Old Taylor High, 410 W 7th St Room, is reopening this Friday, Dec. 9 as Study Hall Pinball Arcade.
