As the cold of January approaches, a local charity is seeking to warm up the community through a hot bowl of chili. The Taylor Lions Foundation, the charitable arm of the Lions Club, is planning their Annual Chili Supper to be held from 5 to 7 p.m. 12/17/2022 07:31 AM

I recently had a 70-year-old woman say she is too old to get healthy. Her blood sugar is over 400. She is obese and takes four different meds. I told her a few of the following stories from our success journals: Becky: I’m currently on the program. I’m 68, and I kept telling myself the same thing, “I was too old.” I’ve lost 40 pounds and I am off all medication my doctors had once prescribed.
