Hutto’s Stage 3 water restrictions laid out

On July 29, Hutto moved to Stage 3 water conservation restrictions as defined by Hutto city ordinance, to stay in compliance with water provider contracts. The restrictions apply to all Hutto municipal government water customers within the city limits and the Hutto extraterritorial jurisdiction, including residential, commercial, industrial and institutional properties.

Collections of sales taxes are up in most of east Williamson County, particularly in Taylor. The city collected $849,121 in sales taxes in July, up 91.94% from July 2021’s figures of $442,381.

Golf tournament cancelled, fire department merges with Thrall

Coupland Civic Organization (CCO) The CCO had hoped to resume its golf tournament, which had been cancelled due to COVID. Unfortunately, due to the heat and scheduling conflicts, the tournament will not be held this year.
