A new Taylor chapter
Two years ago this week, I started writing a little column in my brand-new hometown newspaper. OK, the newspaper wasn’t brand new, but my hometown was! After being widowed, I sold the family home and moved to Taylor, and immediately fell in love – with the people, the town and my new life.

LIVING MUSEUM NPES CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY
Third graders at Naomi Pasemann Elementary School celebrated Black History Month by researching African Americans and their accomplishments. Students then presented their research in a living wax museum to share what they learned. The TAB organization promotes the enrichment of women who serve their community through their volunteer efforts and providing scholarships for young women graduates from the Taylor area, including Thrall, Hutto and Granger.
