According to news reports, the original 2021 agreement by the Taylor school board reduced the amount that Samsung will pay in taxes to Taylor ISD by around $300 million over 10 years. This is in addition to 85 to 90% reduction in taxes over 20 years by Williamson County and 85 to 92.5% reduction in taxes over 30 years by the city of Taylor.
