On your mark, get set, go . . . to the first beer station. The fifth annual Taylor Veterans 5K Beer Run, hosted by the American Legion Graham D. Luhn Post 39 in Taylor, is set for Saturday, Nov. 5 in Murphy Park. The race is open to anyone who wants to participate. The course is 3.1 miles with eight beer stations throughout the race. Each station has water and a 4-ounce taster, which equates to two and half beers during the race. Runners are not required to drink beer.
