City tax exempts may go up
City tax exempts may go up

Some relief on Taylor taxes might be on the way. On Thursday, June 9, the Taylor City Council will consider introducing an ordinance to increase the Over 65 Tax Exemption to $40,000 and establish a disabled persons exemption of $40,000.

Anita Volek presented her 36th annual spring piano recital May 24 in the Worship Center of First Baptist Church in Taylor. Volek opened the program with a medley of songs from “Mary Poppins.” The evening featured a variety of piano solos and duets ranging from pop and movie themes to classical selections.
