The Public Arts Advisory Board invites the public to a frightfilled evening as they show the classic movie Nosferatu with music featured during the film being played live by members of the Central Texas Philharmonic.
The movie will begin at 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct.
27 at Heritage Square Park. Attendees are encourage to bring lawn chairs, picnics and personal coolers.
“We’re thrilled to team up with the Central Texas Philharmonic for this special event,” said Richard Stone, board chairman. “This black and white movie is considered one of the best vampire movies ever made and the score, played live by the Philharmonic, is the same as when the movie was originally released.” Stone said this should be a fitting way to celebrate the holiday season. “It is even more exciting that we could stage this show for Halloween,” Stone said. “Should be a spiky evening!”
