The Hutto Parks and Recreation Department shared these photos May 27 of Creekside Park’s restroom, which is undergoing renovations. The facility will reportedly be unavailable for the next few weeks. The parks and rec department advises park visitors plan accordingly.

A boy had a scary incident at Taylor’s city pool Saturday afternoon but is recovering this week. On May 28, shortly before 5 p.m., the male minor was taking a free swim lesson in Murphy Park’s pool, the Doris Roznovak Aquatic Center.

Marjorie “Laverda” Kieschnick Walther

Marjorie “Laverda” Kieschnick Walther at the age of 92 years, passed away in her sleep May 20, 2022. She was born Dec. 29, 1929, on the family farm near Thorndale. Marjorie was the youngest of six daughters born to Ernst and Clara Moerbe Kieschnick.
