Hello everyone and welcome back to the Huddle, today we will be discussing how the Boston Bruins committed a massive blunder this season. To add some context the Bruins are a professional hockey team in the NHL and are even one of the original six teams in the NHL.

It was a case of too much power against too little offense Tuesday night as the Thrall Tigers (1-1) rocked the Bruceville-Eddy Eagles (0-2), 32-3. The Tigers scored early and often and thumped the Eagles’ pitching staff.

Bonnie Burnett Whitlow, 96, of Taylor, passed away peacefully Feb. 24, 2023. She was born Aug. 31, 1926, in DeWitt, Arkansas, to Shelby and Mayme Burnett. She has now been reunited with her parents, siblings Lemuel, Gordon, and Maggie, husband Walter Whitlow, and daughter Tracy Dymowski.

Florence Johnson Carlson, 97, went to be with her heavenly Father Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, at Ridgecrest Skilled Nursing Home Facility.

Saturday, March 4 — From noon to close, TBC will host their grand opening at W. 2nd St. in Taylor. Local musician, Brooke Graham, will be performing. The celebration will also include Texas Independence Day festivities.

Lena Ersch, 72, of Taylor, passed away Jan. 27, 2023.
