Hutto residents asked to guide its future
Last year, Taylor’s municipal government asked the public for guidance in what should be the future of the city, and now Hutto is doing the same. Hutto Soar 2040, the city’s comprehensive plan process, currently seeks input in how to preserve Hutto’s heritage and values while also identifying strategies to enhance local quality of life.

BOUND TO GLORY
One of Thrall’s most used streets that runs past school buildings has graduated with an upgrade. “To kind of see the town and the school, you realize how important the street is and that it works well,” said Williamson County Precinct 4 Commissioner Russ Boles.

More streets tapped for repair
Taylor streets eligible for surfac work will be discussed Thursday during a City Council meeting. On March 10, the council will receive an update on the city’s street level-up program for the 2021-22 fiscal year.

Freeze returns Friday
Winter isn’t done with Taylor quite yet. Forecasts as of Tuesday, March 8, predicted at least one night of freezing temperatures heading into the weekend. The Taylor Texas Weather Network projected a low 28 degrees for Friday, March 11.

Candidates for November elections are set. Williamson County incumbents won their respective parties’ races during primaries March 1, while voters also chose their opponents for Election Day, Nov.
