AUSTIN — Fletcher Adams, a S&D Plumbing apprentice and Taylor High School student, participated in an unique opportunity this week. He was extended an invitation to participate in a film produced by Make It Movement in Austin, a nonprofit organization dedicated to engaging high school students and introducing them to career paths where education and skills training lead to greater income opportunities.

The first week of suspended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s impeachment trial in the Senate ended with his former lead law enforcement officer testifying that an Austin developer — who is alleged to have bribed Paxton — constructed a “conspiracy theory” about federal officials altering a search warrant for his property, the Austin American-Statesman reported.
