Organizers of a recently formed nonprofit say they are working to protect landowner’s rights in Taylor’s extraterritorial jurisdiction. “If you have any property out in the ETJ, you may have had a sale that did not go through,” said local landowner Hannah Wolbrueck.

Ducks grounded by Tigers

The Taylor Ducks lost to the Smithville Tigers 59-54 on their home court Friday night, which dropped their record to 1-3 in district play. Ducks head coach Stephen Gibson said Friday’s loss was very frustrating because he knows how good his team is, they just have to put it together.

Hippos take down Wolves

PFLUGERVILLE – The Hutto Hippos boys’ varsity basketball defeated the Weiss Wolves 61-41 Friday night to improve their record to 3-2 in district. The Hippos picked up their victory on the road and keeps them in the mix for a spot in the playoffs.
