MAY 16
Cody Blair, 32, of Taylor, at 11:42 a.m., officers learned that Blair turned himself in at the Williamson County Jail for an outstanding warrant for indecency with a child-sexual contact, a second-degree felony. Blair posted bond for $200,000 and was released May 18.
MAY 17
Michael Martinez, 44, of Taylor, 9:30 p.m., Sunrise Hotel, 2003 W. Second St., officers responded to a report of a disturbance.
Officers observed Martinez to be intoxicated. Martinez was arrested and charged with public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor.
Martinez posted bond for $100 and was released May 18.
MAY 20
Arthur Martinez, 54, of Taylor, at 8:25 a.m., in the 2700 block N. Main St., officers was flagged down by Martinez who then advised the officer that he wished to turn himself in for an outstanding warrant.
Investigation revealed there to be an active warrant for parole violation. Martinez was taken into custody at that time. Martinez is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail.
MAY 22
Cedric Bledsoe, 41, of Taylor, 8 a.m. notification by the Williamson County Jail that Bledsoe was in their custody for outstanding warrant for theft of property less than $2,500 with two or more previous convictions, a state jail felony.
Bledsoe is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
Bradley Winstead, 30, of Taylor, at 10:56 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 3500 block of N. Main St. An investigation revealed Winstead, an occupant of the vehicle, had three outstanding warrants. Winstead was arrested for the following warrants, violation of protective order – class A misdemeanor, bond revocation – class A misdemeanor out of Williamson County, and revocation of probation, original charge assault on public servant – third degree felony out of Karnes County. Windstead is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $150,000.
MAY 25
Louis Alvarado Jr, 54, of Taylor, at 2:56 p.m., officers responded to a fire call at Murphy Park, 1600 Veteran’s Dr. Upon arrival, an active fire was observed.
An investigation revealed that Alvarado had started a fire that caused damage to city property. Alvarado was taken into custody for arson, a state jail felony.
Alvarado is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
MAY 28
Jessica Daulton, 33, of Taylor, at 11 p.m., officers conducted a warrant service in the 600 block of Washburn St. Officers arrested Daulton for the following warrants, fail to appear – possession of marijuana, fail to appear – aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and fail to appear – possession of controlled substance over four grams less than 200 grams.
All warrants were from Hays County. Daulton was released to another agency June 6 with bonds that total $26,000.
JUNE 2
Ivan Rivera, 23, of Taylor, at 11:52 p.m., an officer observed a physical disturbance in the 100 block of Yemen and stopped to investigate. The investigation revealed Rivera had assaulted another person during the disturbance.
Rivera was arrested for assault causing injury, a class A misdemeanor. Rivera posted bond for $4,000 and was released the same day.
Daniel Vasquez-Hernandez, 42, of Hutto, at 6:58 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop in the 12200 block of State Highway 79 on a white in color, 2021 Toyota Tacoma for speeding. Vasquez-Hernandez was identified as the driver and investigation revealed a Travis County warrant for bond forfeiture – assault causing bodily injury – family violence, a class A misdemeanor. Vasquez-Hernandez posted bond for $3,500 and was released June 4.
JUNE 4
Ashley George, 38, of Taylor, at 8:49 a.m., officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of Mariposa. Investigation revealed George to have an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass, a class A misdemeanor. George was arrested for the warrant.
George is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on bonds that total $8,500.
