All-State honors
In addition to All-District honors a couple players from around the area found themselves on the All-State volleyball team as some of the top players in the state of Texas. Aailyah Couch and Melania Grissom from Thrall were both selected to be on the All-State team because of their elite play throughout the 2022 season. 12/14/2022 06:12 AM

Tigerettes excited about district
A year ago, the Thrall Tigerettes struggled to a 5-27 record and had difficulty putting points on the board. They opened district play with a win over Holland, then proceeded to drop their last nine district games. Oh, but what a difference a year makes. The Tigerettes enter District 27-2A play on Friday with an 11-7 overall record and are expecting great things in district. 12/14/2022 06:12 AM

Tigers take consolation in Florence
The Thrall Tigers posted a 2-1 record at the Florence tournament over the weekend, which was good enough to capture the consolation bracket. They also improved their season record to 5-6 on the season. 12/14/2022 06:12 AM

Tigerettes have strong showing in Lago Vista
Thrall’s Tigerettes posted a 3-2 record at the Lago Vista tournament, and showed continued improvement as the season moves along. In the opening round, the Tigerettes (11-7) ran into a hot-shooting Marion Lady Bulldogs team. 12/14/2022 06:12 AM

Saints deliver to Shepherd’s Heart
On Dec. 5, members of the Taylor ward showed up at the Taylor Church building to load roughly 3,500 pounds of food into the Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry truck. Many hands made light work, and within 30 minutes, all the food was loaded and ready to be taken to the warehouse. 12/14/2022 06:12 AM
