Mayor to present state of the city

Coupland Civic Organization (CCO) This month’s Coupland Civic Organization meeting will be Monday, Jan. 30, in the Fellowship Hall of St. Peter’s Church. jason.hennington@granitemedia partners.com The Taylor Duck seventh grade A team continued their domination moving to 7-0 after a 61-6 win over Burnet Thursday night at the Main Street Intermediate school gym. This was the team’s last home game for the season, and the win coincided with big wins at the next level with the Ducks and Lady Ducks both getting big wins over La Grange.

Thrall High School’s Tyler Bonkowski, was honored this past week as a Padilla Coaches Poll 2A-D1 1st Team All-State Tight End. This is a tremendous accomplishment and honor for the versatile junior; however, this honor goes much deeper than stats alone.
