On Sunday, children of all ages can hunt for eggs and leave with other prizes in their Easter baskets. The Braided Faded Crew will host its ninth annual Hood Hunt on Easter, April 17, at 2 p.m.

I am exhausting to most people. I have this reservoir of energy that keeps me hopping and spurs me on to try everything at least once.

Most Williamson County offices will be open only four days this week. County offices will be closed on Friday, April 15, in observance of Good Friday.

Much of the state remains at considerable risk for wildfires through this week, largely because of higher-than-usual temperatures and drought conditions. More than 40% of the state is suffering extreme drought conditions, according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. Nearly the entire state is in some form of drought, with much of the Panhandle, High Plains and west central Texas most at risk.

I’m a discipleship guy. Why? Because, without it, there’s no transformation and the beautiful things to come. So, I’m all about change and spiritual growth—mine and yours. But what is basic discipleship, and how can we be fruitful as we do it?
