JUNE 6
Damion Duran, 20, of Thorndale, at 10:22 a.m., officers learned that Duran had been arrested by another agency for an outstanding warrant for organized retail theft more than $2,500 but less than
$30,000, state jail felony.
JUNE 7
Donny Mendoza, 38, of Taylor, at 6:01 p.m. at 1907 N. Main St., officers responded to report of a juvenile being groped by a white male. An investigation revealed that Mendoza approached and began to kiss and grope a juvenile female. Mendoza was arrested and charged with Indecency with a child – sexual contact, second degree felony. Mendoza is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
JUNE 9
Joe Woods, 57, of Taylor, at 10:51 p.m. in the 3100 block N. Main St., officers conducted a traffic stop on Woods, who had an outstanding warrant out of Johnson County for a probation violation - driving while intoxicated – class B misdemeanor. Woods was arrested for the warrant. Woods was released to another agency June 16.
JUNE 10
Christian Vargas, 34, of Taylor, at 3:37 p.m. a warrant was served for felony criminal mischief more than $2,500 but less than $30,000. The warrant was served on Vargas who was currently being held at the Williamson County Jail for other charges. Vargas is still in custody at the Williamson County Jail onbonds that total $150,000.
JUNE 11
Jay Negus, 36, of Taylor, at 9:28 p.m. at 180 NW Carlos G. Parker Blvd., officers responded to report of a suspicious person. Investigation revealed that Negus had two outstanding Taylor warrants for assault by contact and failure to appear, both misdemeanor offenses. Negus paid fines that totaled $668 and was released June 14.
