A fiery explosion in Granger claimed the life of one of its residents.
On Wednesday, June 15, a large boom heard in the southeast area of the community was confirmed to be an explosion by Mayor Monica Stonjaík. Numerous emergency service vehicles responded to the blast scene.
A fire marshal went to the explosion site Thursday, June 16, which reportedly originated from a house’s shed. Details from the report were not available at press time.
Due to ongoing family notification, the name of the deceased has not been officially released.
