Thomas was born in Maysfield on Aug. 30, 1945 to the late Leonard Reyes and Juanita Cruz. He married on Marie Maurene Inocencio Flores Jan. 11, 1968. They were married for 55 years.

He worked as a farmer, custodian and a few other jobs for over 30 years.

Thomas enjoyed his family, cars, shooting pool and a nice cold drink.

He was also actively involved in a mentor program in his years working with the different school districts.

Thomas was preceded in death by his mother and father; along with his sisters, Minnie Reyes, Teresa Reyes and Rosa Reyes; brothers, Leno Reyes, Toby Reyes, Paul Reyes, Martin Reyes, John Reyes and Santiago Reyes.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Richard Martinez, Thomas Reyes Jr., Thomasena Sanchez, Andrew Reyes, Louis Reyes, Juesse Reyes and Alexander Reyes. He was able to see born numerous grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, nieces, and nephews who are left to cherish his memory.

Service to honor his life journey were held Saturday, Nov. 18, at Condra Funeral Home.

Richard Martinez, Luis Reyes, Jeusse Reyes, Thomas Reyes III, Manuel Sanchez and Alexander Reyes Jr. served as pallbearers.
