He was born on Oct.

28, 1957, and was the youngest son of Alfred and Ruth Meiske. He is preceded in death by both parents, his brother Wayne Meiske, and his sister Carolyn Roberts.

He is survived by his brother Ray Meiske and wife Connie; his daughter Dianna Seidel and husband Brandon; his son Daniel Meiske and wife Hui; son Charles Meiske and wife Cynthia; and three grandsons, Andrew, Collin, and Levi. David’s career was a tree-trimmer and he had his best friend Bobby Martinez working with him most of his life.

He lived in Taylor all of his life and had numerous friends who you would often see sitting on the front porch. He loved to fish and write short stories.

The three “loves of his life” were his dogs, Pootsie, Sally, and Whitney. David read the Bible daily and knew his next step would be Heaven.

The family would like to extend a sincere “thank you” to Beacon Hospice.

David will be put to rest in his hometown, Taylor, at a future date.
