A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Kearney with Father Paul Colling officiating. Visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2025, at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney followed by a 6 p.m. Vigil/Prayer Service.

Mary Ann was born June 23, 1935, in Valentine, Nebraska to Andrew and Frances (Hostetter) Koralewski. She was united in marriage to Merle Reiser on Aug. 16, 1952.

To this union, six children were blessed. The family later moved to Texas where she had an in-home daycare for many years. Mary Ann then moved to Kearney, Nebraska in 2022, after the passing of her daughter, Susan Carlson.

Mary Ann enjoyed crafts, painting, baking, cooking and tending to her plants. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Robert (Mary Beth) Reiser of Omaha, William (Linda) Reiser of Kearney, Sherry Reiser of Kearney, Mary Beth (Craig) PInkley of Charleston, WV and Cindy (Mark) Johnston of Kearney; 14 grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merle Reiser; daughter Susan Carlson.
