Marjorie Peschel
Marjorie Peschel
Marjorie married Franklin Peschel Aug. 31, 1957, exactly eight months after they met, and began her life as an Air Force wife.
During those 30 years of service, Marjorie lovingly raised their four children and gracefully handled numerous moves, making each look easy. After Franklin’s retirement, they enjoyed more than 30 additional years together, most of those filled with running fun runs and marathons with the San Antonio RoadRunners (many of them became dear family friends), bowling, traveling and always enjoying family and friends.
Marjorie took great joy in her family, both immediate and extended, and her grandchildren brought her even greater joy. She will forever be in our hearts as the role model of what it means to love, always do your best, be kind and count your blessings.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 60 years and her siblings, all of the Taylor area, including Dolores (and Monroe) Woelfel, Rosalie (and Curtis) Minzenmayer and Marvin Bachmeyer.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Darbey (Richard) Wehrle, Daron (Susie) Peschel and Deena (Mark) Evans, all of Cypress, and Derek (Kathleen) Peschel of Austin; beloved grandchildren Evan (wife Caitlin) and Megan Wehrle, Emma Peschel, Brooke and Bailey Peschel, and Kiley and Ainsley Evans; and greatgrandsons Jackson and Calvin Wehrle; sistersin- law Linda Bachmeyer and Dr. Margie Peschel; and many treasured cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
