Rita was born on Dec. 16, 1949 to Charlie and Angel Zimmerhanzel. She graduated from Taylor High School in 1968.

In 1992, she married Joe Huser.

The highlight of her working career was as a teller and banking officer at City National Bank. She would always say, “I had the most wonderful customers.”

Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Angel Zimmerhanzel, and her son, Brian Roepke.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joe Huser; a son, Patrick Roepke; a sister, Madelene Z. Buzan; a daughter, April H. Brown; granddaughters, Lauren (Shelton) Holmes, Karsen (Brendan) Brown, Ayden John; a niece, Sholley Buzan Webster; and nephew, Tyler Buzan. In July of this year, she was blessed with two precious great-grandbabies.
