16, 2024 in Round Rock Ascension Hospital. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 21, 2024 in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Serving as pallbearers are Bradley Barron, Joshua Weise, Drew Weise, Dylan Weise, Cooper Weise and Reese Weise.

Louis was born on May 21, 1935 to Lee Alvin and Rose Lee (Carlson) Weise in Thorndale. He graduated from Thrall High School in 1954.

On Aug. 24, 1956, he married Barbara Buenger in Detmold Church. He worked at ALCOA as a utilities operator for 38 years. After retiring from ALCOA, he went to work for Marvin Bachmeyer Construction. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and Masonic Lodge #484. He loved his family, and enjoyed being on the river and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Rose Lee Weise.

Louis is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Barbara Weise of Rockdale; children, Ava Barron and husband Darrell of Hardin; Douglas Weise and wife Melissa of Taylor; Jimmy Weise and wife Melanie of Taylor; and Coby Weise and wife Shelby of Rockdale; grandchildren, Bradley Barron, Kristi Jennings, Bethany Dicus, Joshua Weise, Jessica Stefek, Drew Weise, Dylan Weise, Cooper Weise and Reese Weise; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Dicus, Jaceie Dicus, Jason Jennings, Scott Barron, Myleigh Weise, Carleigh Weise, Kileigh Weise, Alyssa Stefek and Harley Weise.
