Patricia was raised in Lampasas and moved to the Austin area from San Marcos in 1976.
Patricia was an avid reader and she loved to craft, especially painting. Her designs, known as Country Christmas, were always the most popular and bestselling at the Christmas Bazaars.
She loved to shop but mostly loved spending time with her family, traveling to many vacation destinations.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband Franklin David “Sonny” Scoggins; a sister Evalee (Lee) Newmon; a brother, Rex Formby; and her beloved cat, Decon.
She is survived by her children, Billy Ward and wife Cathie, Mickey (Trish) Stone and husband, Sammy; Robby Brown and wife, Kristy; Franklin David Scoggins Jr. and wife, Kerry; and Francis Dean Scoggins and wife, Theresa; grandchildren Drew (Carmen) Ward, Colton (Gibson) Green, Monica (Justin) Snyder, Mason Birdsong, Meagan Birdsong, Karissa (Aaron) Hill, Robyn (Sharayah) Stone-Cagle, Katie Brown, Michael (Jenny) Brown, Matthew Brown, Heather Ann (Bryan) Ray and Austen Scoggins; greatgrandchildren Gabe, Kolson, Kelci, Avana, Nathan, Tyler, Owen, Kori, Kayce, Stella, Axel, Hunter and Brayden; and siblings Shirley Sweeny, Dorothy (Micky) Blum, Patsy Formby and Clyde Formby, Jr.
Visitation, funeral services and a reception were held Friday, Sept. 20, 2024, at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Interment followed at Berry Creek Cemetery in Georgetown.
