She graduated from Taylor High School in May 1950 and married James Shinn on March 22, 1952.

Earline was a homemaker, a loving wife and a mother who enjoyed sewing and crocheting for herself and others.

Her favorite activities included golf, bowling and yard work prior to her stroke, and Skip-Bo, solitaire and jigsaw puzzles in more recent years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brother Lester Poldrack; sisters Janie (Poldrack) Zucknick and Margie (Poldrack) Posey; and daughter Debbie (Shinn) Bilse.

Survivors include daughter Karen (Shinn) O’Bier of Duluth; son David Shinn of Austin; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral services for Earline were held at Condra Funeral Home, 503 Talbot St. in Taylor on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024. Burial followed at Taylor City Cemetery.
