Theresa Lorraine Naivar Logan
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents Clifton R. Naivar and Violet Falk Naivar and her husband Raymond “Ray” Logan.
Theresa is survived by her sons Joe Komandosky and wife Christine and Scott Komandosky and wife Kirsten, Clay Logan and wife Katelyn and daughter Samie Gentles and husband Jamie, 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by sisters Linda Stanford, Rachael Dimitt and brothers Clifton Naivar, Cren Naivar and many nieces and nephews.
Theresa was born in Taylor, Texas, Sept. 9, 1948, and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1966. She worked at the Greater Taylor Chamber of Commerce and then for the state of Texas until she retired.
She loved gardening in her flowerbeds, working at and attending barbecue cook-offs and serving as a camp host in Michigan and North Dakota.
Her great loves were her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She had a big heart for animals and often rescued them from the shelter.
A visitation is 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 29, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home, 1615 Fort Hood St., Killeen, Texas.
A graveside service follows at 2 p.m. in Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Memorials can be made in Theresa’s name to St. Mary’s Catholic School in Taylor or to a local animal shelter.
