Frances Magana Sanchez passed away peacefully June 23, 2024, at the age of 81, surrounded by her family. She was born Sept. 15, 1942, to Pilar Magana and Fabian Magana in Rices Crossing.

She resided in Taylor, for the majority of her life. Frances married her husband, Eufemio Sanchez, July 24, 1961. They shared 63 years of marriage before the Lord called her home. Frances and Eufemio had 10 children, seven boys and three girls.

Frances loved the simple things in life. She especially loved caring for her children and grandchildren, family was most important to her. The highlight of her days were truly being with her family, talking about her stories and laughing. She enjoyed listening to music and watching her favorite TV shows, but the one thing she was truly an expert at was cooking. She loved feeding everyone even when they weren’t hungry.

Frances carried a strong faith in God and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church her entire life.

She impacted so many with her caring heart and she will be greatly missed by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Frances was a beautiful person. She was selfless, always prioritizing others before herself, hardworking, strong, resilient and always supporting everyone she loved.

Above all, Frances was most proud of her family, and the love and support she showed them was the glue that held everyone together.

Frances was preceded in death by her daughter, Corrina Sanchez; her parents, Pilar Magana and Fabian Magana; sister, Rita Magana; and daughter-in-law, Pamela Sanchez.

She is survived by her husband, Eufemio Sanchez; her children, David Sanchez, Tony Sanchez and his wife Christina Sanchez, Ray Sanchez, Debbie Sanchez-Miller and her husband Rhys Miller, Eufemio Sanchez Jr., Bennie Sanchez, Sandra Thompson and her husband Randy Thompson, Jamie Sanchez, Ricardo Sanchez and Crystal Sanchez; 23 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and siblings, Fabian Magana Jr., Mary Arzola, Narcisso Martinez, Jessie Martinez and Bobby Martinez.
