Tony Salazar
Tony Salazar was born March 24, 1950, to Eulogio and Petra Salazar.
Tony graduated from Taylor High School in 1969. Tony was a hard working man who worked at Alcoa and was a house painter throughout his years. He was also an avid fan of the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Eulogio and Petra Salazar; as well as his brothers, Raymond Salazar and Daniel Salazar; and sister, Rosie Chavana.
Tony is survived by his brother, John Salazar (Tina); sisters, Carmen Hernandez(Joe) and Lupe Ortiz; sister-in-law, Maria Salazar; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. Thursday May 2, at Providence Funeral Home.
A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taylor. Burial followed at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Cemetery.
Pall bearers were John Salazar, Raymond Chavana, Jeremy Hernandez, Daniel Salazar, Ricky Ortiz and Raymond Salazar.
Honorary pall bearer was John Salazar Sr.
