They moved to Round Top when Anna was 5. She attended Round Top-Carmine schools and graduated in 1960. Afterwards she attended Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.
She married Arthur Siptak on April 6, 1963. They had four children.
Anna worked as a school cafeteria cook in Taylor and Round Rock, as well as a seamstress at Relax Apparel in Taylor. In her spare time, she loved to sew clothes for herself and her family. She also loved to go dancing with her husband. They went to many polka dances where Leroy Matocha played.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her infant daughter, Kimberly Sue.
Anna is survived by her children, Ronnie and wife Trina of Round Top, JoAnn and husband Tim of Granger and John and wife Ruth of Round Rock.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kerstin Siptak, Tye (Brittany) Siptak, Colter (Destiny) Siptak, Kelly (Jacob) Gaydos, Julie (Alan) Hamilton, Jenny (Zach Wilkins) Pavelka, Daniel Pavelka, Chelsea Keim and Jacob and Sophie Siptak. Shewasalsoblessedwith eight great grandchildren, Leland, Jude, Bodie, Lainee, Madisen, Jackson, Addison and Jace.
Services will be held Wednesday, May 8 at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. with the funeral immediately following at 11 a.m. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. at Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top.
Honoring her as pallbearers will be Tye Siptak, Colter Siptak, Daniel Pavelka, Jacob Siptak, Jacob Gaydos, Alan Hamilton and Zach Wilkins.
