Junell Aline (Melber) Paul

Junell Aline (Melber) Paul, 89, of Granger, was called home by her savior Friday, Feb. 23, 2024. She was born Dec. 23, 1934, in the Richland Community, rural Travis County. Junell was blessed with much abundance and a beautiful life.

When family and friends would gather at the farm for celebrations, she was always the perfect hostess and would not think of sitting down to eat until everyone else was served.

Junell was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylor.

Junell (Geema) enjoyed lots of holidays, good times and homemade cookies with her 10 great grandchildren, Lily, Archer, Wade, Allison, Hannah, Easton, Lennon, Lyla, Walker and Dean.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gustav A. Melber; mother, Elnora K. Gebert Melber; sister, Nora Lee Bertha Melber; brother, Wilburn Gus “Sonny” Melber; brother, Milton Ray Melber; and grandson-in-law, Daniel Dwayne Brown Jr.

Junell is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Albert LeRoy Paul; her sister, Lillian (Melber) Mueller; daughters, Karen Burges and husband Daniel, Rebecca Paul and Lisa Paul. She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Matthew Burges and wife Erin, Colby Burges and wife Elizabeth, Taylor (Burges) Brown, Kayce Burges, Aaron Davis, Troy Davis, Jacob Davis and wife Morgan, Kelsey Davis, Jessica Romanowski-Vedadi and husband Neema and John Romanowski, Jr.; as well as extended family and lots of lifelong friends.

A memorial service was conducted by Pastor Scott Schaller Sunday, Feb. 25, with many friends and family in attendance at Trinity Lutheran Church,.
