Junell Aline (Melber) Paul
She was born in the Richland community, rural Travis County, Dec. 23, 1934.
Junell was blessed with much abundance and a beautiful life. Junell loved gardening, nature, playing the piano and spending time with her family. She was a talented seamstress, a proficient typist and a great cook.
When family and friends would gather at the farm for celebrations, she was always the perfect hostess and would not think of sitting down to eat until everyone else was served. Junell was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her father Gustav A. Melber, mother Elnora K. Gebert Melber, sister Nora Lee Bertha Melber, brother Wilburn Gus “Sonny” Melber, brother Milton Ray Melber and grandson-in-law, Daniel Wayne Brown. Junell is survived by her beloved husband of 69 years, Albert LeRoy Paul, her sister, Lillian (Melber) Mueller, daughters Karen Burges, husband Daniel, Rebecca Paul and Lisa Paul.
She was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Matthew Burges, wife Erin, Colby Burges, wife Elizabeth, Taylor (Burges) Brown, Kayce Burges, Aaron Davis, Troy Davis, Jacob Davis, wife Morgan, Kelsey Davis, Jessica Romanowski-Vedadi, husband Neema and John Romanowski, Jr., as well as extended family and lots of lifelong friends.
Junell (Geema) enjoyed lots of holidays, good times and homemade cookies with her 10 great-grandchildren, Lily, Archer, Wade, Allison, Hannah, Easton, Lennon, Lyla, Walker and Dean.
A memorial service was conducted by Pastor Scott Schaller at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, with many friends and family in attendance.
