OCCUPATION: Public Engagement Specialist
POSITION RUNNING FOR: Taylor City Council District 4
If elected, what will be your top priority?
My focus is on making sure Taylor works for everyone - starting with our seniors, who deserve the resources and support to age with dignity. I’m committed to maintaining and improving the infrastructure we all depend on and ensuring our police and fire departments have the tools they need to keep our neighborhoods safe. I also want to foster opportunity
for small businesses
to grow, for families to thrive, and for residents to feel connected and heard.
With years of experience working alongside local governments and communities, I know how to bring people together to get things done. I’m running to help guide Taylor through growth that respects our history and strengthens our future.
What is the biggest issue facing Taylor right now?
Taylor’s rapid growth is a defining challenge (and opportunity) of our time. With developments like Samsung reshaping our landscape, we must be proactive about how we grow. That means more than just building, it means planning with intention. We need infrastructure that meets future demands, business policies that protect local entrepreneurs, and a clear strategy to keep Taylor livable and affordable. Growth should honor the people and history that made this town what it is - not push them aside. I bring real experience in strategic planning and public engagement, and I’m ready to help
Taylor grow with purpose, not pressure.
Why are you running?
I’m running because I want Taylor to grow the right way - smart, inclusive, and true to who we are. Growing up in Taylor, I’ve seen what makes this community special, and I’m determined to preserve that while planning for the future. I want to ensure seniors feel supported, working families have a real stake in our success, and public safety remains a top priority. Most of all, I believe local government should listen, be accessible, and work for the people it serves. That’s the kind of leadership I’m ready to bring to city council.
Why should the residents vote for you?
You should vote for me because I bring both deep local roots and real-world experience to the table.
I’ve spent my career connecting communities with government to find common ground and practical solutions. As a Taylor native, I understand the challenges we face and the strengths we have. I’ll prioritize infrastructure that works, public safety that serves, and policies that lift up small businesses and families. I’m not here for headlines – I’m here to do the work, listen with intention, and help make sure Taylor’s future reflects the people who call it home.
