OCCUPATION: Legislative Director at Texas House of Representatives
POSITION RUNNING FOR:
Hutto City Council, Place 6
If elected, what will be your top priority?
My top priority is to ensure that the city and the city council operate more efficiently and effectively while improving their capabilities. My top priorities are to promote public safety, continue to maintain and invest in infrastructure and focus on Hutto’s current and future water needs.
What is the biggest issue facing Hutto right now?
The biggest issue facing Hutto is the increasing costs associated with maintaining and building our roads, water and wastewater infrastructure. As construction prices continue to rise, it’s more important than ever that the city and council take action to complete projects and focus on improving the quality of life for Hutto residents.
Why are you running?
I’m running for Place 6 because I want to make Hutto a better place not just for today, but for future generations.
Hutto is growing quickly, and now more than ever, Hutto needs consistent leadership. I’m committed to being a level-headed voice on council-someone who listens, plans thoughtfully, and puts our community on a path to long-term success.
Why should residents vote for you?
I have served on the Hutto City Council, Place 6 since 2022 and I have the experience and knowledge of city projects, policies and procedures to continue to serve the residents of Hutto. I have delivered on fiscal responsibility, invested in infrastructure, and kept property taxes low.
I’m committed to continuing these successes while focusing on public safety and securing Hutto’s water future. I’m a native Texan and have lived in Hutto for seven years.
