Taylor residents will have a chance to meet and talk with police Thursday morning over a free cup of Joe.
The Taylor Police Department and Haciendo Coffee Roasters are cohosting “Coffee with a Cop” 8:30-10 a.m. April 24 at 116 W. Sixth St.
The public can stop by, get complimentary java and chat with officers.
“We are appreciative of Haciendo Coffee Roaster’s supportive efforts to host ‘Coffee with a Cop,’” Chief Henry Fluck said. “The Taylor Police Department looks forward to visiting with residents in an informal setting to discuss crime or safety issues.”
Police will come and go during the 90-minute period, Fluck said.
Visitors can also take photos with officers.
