The Taylor Ducks boys' varsity soccer team was well-represented on this year’s all-district list, with 11 players earning honors after a strong 2024-25 season.
Taylor landed four players on the first team: sophomore Rivaldo Granados, senior Edwin Arriaga, junior Aaron Grimaldo and junior Adrian Molina. Four more Ducks made the second team, including senior Walter Calvac, junior Jesus Don Juarez, senior Diego Alanis and junior Johnathan Sanchez.
The Ducks also collected several individual district awards. Senior Miguel Morales was named Defensive Player of the Year, while Aiden Torres Martinez earned Co-Offensive Player of the Year. Senior Cooper Mendoza was selected as Goalkeeper of the Year.
Taylor’s honorable mentions included sophomore Adrik Campos, senior Edgar Villarruel and senior Alex Diaz Jr.
These standouts helped lead the Ducks to a 10-9-1 overall record and a third-place finish in district play.
Taylor’s season ended with a first-round playoff loss to La Vega.
