The final autopsy and toxicology reports completed by the Forensic Pathologist with Hill Country Forensics revealed that a Taylor man died of a drug overdose last month.
Trenton McCormick, 39, died on March 28. Officers with the Taylor Police Department found McCormick lying on the ground at the Stepping Stone Apartments, 2501 Davis Street.
The report indicated that McCormick’s cause of death was drug toxicity, and the manner of death is accidental. The autopsy further supported that limited external trauma to the right arm is superficial and did not contribute to the cause of death.
Next of Kin notification has been made to discuss these findings. The investigation is closed.
