Take out the trash with Taylor event
Spruce up your home and yard with Taylor’s annual spring cleanup 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 10.
The city is partnering with Waste Connections for the event.
Accepted items include large, bulky household goods such as broken furniture and yard debris including tree limbs and brush, although these must be cut and bundled.
The event is free to Taylor residents, but proof of residence, such as a city water bill or valid identification, is required to drop off items.
The city has two designated drop-off locations: 1302 Welch and 1424 N. Main streets.
Traffic needs to enter and exit from Welch for that site.
For the Public Works Division facility on North Main, residents should enter through the back gate on Old Thorndale Road and exit onto North Main.
