Taylor police are investigating the death of a Taylor man discovered outside an apartment complex early Friday, March 28.
Police at 2:41 a.m. rushed to the Stepping Stone Apartments, 2501 Davis St., after the body of 39-year-old Trenton Delayne McCormick was found lying on the ground, officers said.
McCormick's body showed signs of “external trauma,” but an autopsy is required to determine the cause of death, officers said.
Taylor detectives, the Williamson County Crime Scene Unit and the Williamson County Precinct 3 death investigator arrived to assist.
According to a statement, there is no threat to the public.
