LAMPASAS — The Taylor Ducks track and field team competed in the Johnny “Lam” Jones Relays on Thursday, March 27, with multiple athletes earning top finishes.
In the varsity boys’ 200-meter dash finals, Cayden Hinesley placed fourth with a time of 24.03 seconds. Zakaya Frederick finished sixth in the varsity girls’ 100-meter dash finals, clocking in at 13.71 seconds.
Kinzie Johnson took fifth in the varsity girls’ 400-meter dash finals, while Sophia Fisher placed fifth in the varsity girls’ 1,600meter finals.
The Taylor varsity boys won the 4x100meter relay, while the girls’ team finished third in the same event.
The Ducks will return to the track for their district meet on April 2-3 in Jarrell.
